Returns policy

Items correctly supplied

We understand that mistakes can happen and that you may have inadvertently ordered the incorrect size. 
It is the responsibility of the customer to return the items in question at their cost.
Garments which have been embroidered, printed or decorated in any way cannot be returned.
Items specially made to customers special orders cannot be returned to stock.

Exchanges for Account customers

We are happy to exchange for the correct size but due to the high cost of admin work we have to make a charge.
Items for return must be sent back withing 7 days of receipt.
Goods supplied correctly but ordered incorrectly by an Account customer will attract a restocking charge of 10%.

Exchanges for Retail Customers

Retail customers who pay list price can exchange free of charge.
Items for return must be sent back withing 7 days of receipt.
In each case it is the responsibility of the customer to return the items in question at their cost.

Refunds for Retail Customers

We want you to be happy with every purchase but if you need to return an item it's a straightforward process.  We are happy to refund in full for any unworn or unused item returned in original condition within 7 days or for faulty goods received - just follow the steps below.

1   Apply to sales@dmsuniforms.co.uk for a returns authorisation.
2   Address your package to:

3   Arrange dispatch with the courier of your choice taking care to obtain a receipt for your package.

DMS Products will not be held liable for the loss of any returned items/parcels. We recommend that you obtain Proof of Posting and take out adequate parcel insurance to cover against consequential loss by your courier.

b) Incorrect, faulty or missing items

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, we will gladly make good any shortage or non-delivery, refund, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, provided that you notify us of the problem within 3 working days of delivery of the goods.

At our discretion, we may collect goods for inspection before making a decision. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our policy is normally to refund, rather than replace. At our discretion this may be as a payment or credit on your account. If you require a replacement item, we would advise you to make a separate order RETURNS To enable us to handle your return as quickly as possible, please follow the simple instructions below:

1. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 0845 200 1525 or sales@dmsuniforms.co.uk and request a Returns Form which must be completed with details of the reason for return, and send it back to us with the product.

2. Wrap the package securely and address it to the following:

3. We recommend you keep a receipt of postage, as we cannot be held responsible for items which may get lost in the post.

4. We will notify you via Email, Telephone or Letter when we have processed your return. This may take up to 10 working days from receipt of the returned item.
